01Overview

What is cloud security?

Cloud security is the set of controls that protect cloud accounts, workloads, data and identities: secure configuration, access control, network design, encryption, monitoring and governance. The cloud provider secures the platform, and you remain responsible for how you configure and use it.

Most cloud breaches come from misconfiguration and exposed credentials, not from the provider failing. That is why secure design up front and continuous posture checking matter more than any single product.

In Saudi Arabia, cloud use is shaped by the NCA Cloud Cybersecurity Controls (CCC) and the CST Cloud Computing Regulatory Framework, which classify data and set where it may be hosted.

02What we do

Six cloud security services

Build it right, then keep it right.

A secure foundation

Account structure, identity, network and policy guardrails designed before workloads arrive.

  • Account and subscription design
  • Guardrails and policy as code
  • Network and identity foundations
  • Logging and monitoring baseline

What you receive

A landing zone that enforces your policies automatically.

03How we work

From assessment to continuous assurance

Four phases, with controls tested at each.

  1. Phase 1 · Weeks 1 to 3

    Assess

Accounts, workloads, identities and current gaps.

  2. Phase 2 · Weeks 3 to 5

    Design

    Landing zone, guardrails and roadmap.

  3. Phase 3 · Months 2 to 4

    Build and fix

    Implement guardrails and remediate findings.

  4. Phase 4 · Ongoing

    Assure

Continuous posture checks and quarterly review.

07Saudi Arabia and the GCC

Cloud rules in the Kingdom

Where data may live depends on its classification.

  • CST and NCA

    Data classification and hosting

The CST framework and NCA CCC link hosting options to data classification, so some workloads must stay in the Kingdom.

  • Vendor risk

    Provider assessment

We help you assess providers against the CCC and your own requirements before you commit.

  • PDPL

    PDPL and transfers

Cross-border transfers of personal data need a lawful basis and safeguards. We map where data flows.

Fintech and payments providerSOC 2 readiness

SOC 2 Type II readiness for a payments provider

Enterprise customers were asking for a SOC 2 report the company did not yet have.

  • Scoped the trust services criteria with the auditor
  • Closed control gaps and automated evidence collection
  • Supported the audit through the observation period

Result: The audit completed with the report customers had asked for.

Tier-1 Saudi bankPrivileged access management

Privileged access and MFA for a bank

Shared administrator accounts and weak remote access were audit findings.

  • Deployed a privileged access vault with session recording
  • Rolled out multi-factor authentication
  • Introduced joiner, mover, leaver workflows

Result: Audit findings closed and administrator activity became traceable.

Healthcare groupSecurity architecture

Endpoint, email and cloud protection for a hospital group

Fragmented tools left gaps between endpoints, email and cloud workloads.

  • Consolidated endpoint and email protection
  • Hardened the cloud landing zone
  • Centralised monitoring

Result: Fewer gaps and one view of risk.

11Questions answered

Cloud Security FAQs

What are the NCA Cloud Cybersecurity Controls?

The CCC is the National Cybersecurity Authority's set of controls for cloud computing, applying to cloud service providers and to organisations that use cloud services. The current edition is CCC-2:2024.

Can we host data in a public cloud in Saudi Arabia?

It depends on the data's classification and sector rules. The CST framework and NCA controls determine what can be hosted where, and we help you map workloads to the right option.

Which cloud platforms do you secure?

Microsoft Azure, Huawei Cloud and Google Cloud, plus hybrid environments.

What is cloud security posture management?

Continuous checking of cloud configuration against benchmarks and policy to find misconfigurations and drift, with guidance to fix them.

Who is responsible for cloud security?

It is shared. The provider secures the platform, and you secure your data, identities, configuration and applications.

Do you secure containers and Kubernetes?

Yes. We harden clusters, scan images, apply runtime protection and integrate with pipelines.

How do you handle cloud costs and security together?

Posture checks include cost-related risks such as unused public resources, and landing zone policies prevent unmanaged sprawl.
