What is SAP AMC

Keeping SAP healthy after go-live

An SAP AMC, or annual maintenance contract, is an agreement under which a partner supports and improves your SAP system. It covers fixing incidents, small changes, technical care and regular reviews under agreed service levels.

Many companies find that SAP works well at go-live and then slows as the business changes. A good support partner keeps users productive, fixes problems quickly and keeps the system ready for upgrades. You may also hear it called SAP AMS, or application management services.

    AMS, AMC, SAP support
  • Covers
    Functional and technical support
  • Works with

SAP Support and AMC FAQs

What does SAP AMC cover?

An SAP AMC covers fixing incidents, small changes and configuration, functional questions, technical care such as monitoring, patches and upgrades, user roles, month-end and year-end support, and regular health checks and reports.

What is the difference between SAP AMC and SAP AMS?

They mean almost the same thing. AMC stands for annual maintenance contract and AMS for application management services. Both describe a partner that supports and improves your SAP system under agreed service levels.

How are service levels and prices set?

We agree support hours, response and resolution times, scope and price in your contract, based on your system, users and how much your business depends on SAP.

Can you support an SAP system we did not implement?

Yes. We support systems built by other partners. We start with a knowledge-capture and health check, so we understand how your system works before we take responsibility for it.

How do you take over from our current support provider?

We capture knowledge from your users and current provider, set up access and tools, clear the backlog, and then run support with monthly reviews. The takeover is planned so your users keep working.

Can you support ECC, S/4HANA and Business One?

Yes. Our team supports SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business One, and can plan your move from ECC to S/4HANA when you are ready.

Do you offer on-site support in Riyadh?

Yes. Our head office is in Riyadh, so we can visit your office for workshops, closes, go-lives and reviews, and support users remotely the rest of the time.

Do you provide SAP support across the GCC?

Yes. We support SAP for organisations in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, in Arabic and English.
