What this is
The cheapest part of a project is the thinking at the start
Software consulting is a short, fixed-fee engagement that answers a specific question before you commit a budget: what to build, what to buy, what to fix, what to retire and in which order.
Most expensive software mistakes are decisions, not code. A platform chosen because a competitor used it. A rebuild started when configuration would have done. A system bought without checking whether it can meet ZATCA or PDPL requirements. None of those are discovered by writing code faster.
We run these engagements as a separate piece of work with its own deliverable, precisely so the advice can be independent. If the honest answer is that you should configure what you already own, or hire internally, or choose a product we do not implement, that is what the report will say.

What we advise on
The questions clients bring us
Each of these is an engagement on its own, or part of a wider review.
Build, buy or configure
Whether to build custom software, buy a product, or configure something you already own, with costs modelled over five years rather than one.
Architecture review
An independent read on an existing system: how it is structured, where it will break, what it will cost to keep, and what to do about it.
Technology selection
Choosing a platform, framework or vendor against your real requirements, with a scored comparison instead of a sales pitch.
Modernisation roadmap
A sequenced plan for moving off an ageing system in stages, with the business risk of each step stated.
Compliance planning
What PDPL, NCA, SAMA and ZATCA requirements mean for the system you are about to build or buy.
Project assurance
An independent view of a project that is slipping, with a view on whether it is recoverable and what to change.
In detail
What each engagement produces
The point of consulting is the artefact at the end. Here is what you get.

Agree the question to answer, the scope, the fee and the date the report lands.
- 2
Gather
Interviews, system walkthroughs, documentation review and the numbers behind the current cost.
- 3
Analyse
Options modelled, risks assessed and the compliance position checked.
- 4
Draft
A draft report shared early, so you can challenge the findings before they are final.
- 5
Present
A walkthrough with your technical and business stakeholders.
- 6
Hand over
The final report and roadmap, yours to take to any supplier.

Why GoAgile
Why take advice from a company that also builds
A fair question. These are the answers we hold ourselves to.
Separately scoped and priced
Consulting is its own engagement with its own fee, so the advice is not a long sales meeting.
Allowed to say no
Our reports regularly recommend configuring an existing system, buying a product we do not sell, or stopping a project.
We have built what we are judging
Advice from people who have delivered ERP, custom systems, integrations and infrastructure, not from a slide library.
Compliance understood
PDPL, NCA, SAMA and ZATCA treated as design constraints, because we build to them every week.
Yours to use anywhere
The report is yours. Take it to any supplier, including one of our competitors.
In the room
A Riyadh team that will sit with your stakeholders rather than run the review over email.
About to commit a budget you cannot take back?
Tell us the decision you are facing. We will propose a short, fixed-fee engagement that answers it in writing, and tell you up front if you do not need us at all.

What does a consulting engagement cost?
It is quoted as a fixed fee against a fixed scope and date, so you know the cost before you start. The fee depends on the number of systems and stakeholders involved; most engagements run from two to six weeks.
Is the advice really independent if you also build software?
It is scoped and priced separately, and our reports regularly recommend configuring an existing system, buying a product we do not implement, or hiring internally. The report is yours to take anywhere, which is the practical test of independence.
Can you review a project that is already in trouble?
Yes. We assess what has been built, what is left, and whether the project is recoverable, then set out the options plainly, including stopping. That conversation is easier with an outside party in the room.
Do you help choose between products?
Yes. We score platforms against your actual requirements, model the costs over five years and write down the trade-offs. We implement Dynamics 365, Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Zoho and TallyPrime, so the comparisons are based on delivery experience.
Can you advise on PDPL and other compliance requirements?
Yes, as they apply to the system you are planning: what personal data it will hold, where it can be stored, what has to be logged and what the architecture must support. Our plain-language compliance guides cover the frameworks.
What do we actually receive?
A written current-state assessment, options with costs and trade-offs, a recommendation with reasoning, a sequenced roadmap, a compliance position and a walkthrough session with your team.
What if we want you to build it afterwards?
Many clients do, and that is a separate decision and a separate contract. The report is written so that any competent supplier could deliver from it.
Talk to us before you commit
